ID Card and Internet Access

Syracuse University Photo ID Card

Your SU ID card will serve as your official University identification and will provide you access to many university facilities and buildings, including Maxwell and Eggers Hall.  You are required to electronically submit your picture for your SU ID card – instructions can be found on the SU ID Photo Submission Page.

In order to submit your photo electronically, you must first activate your mail address and Net ID.  For students arriving in Fall 2020, the Photo Submission Website activates on May 1, 2020.  Please follow submission guidelines in relation to photo size and resolution.

Since all of you will be arriving in the fall, please submit your photo no later than June 30, 2020. All information can be submitted via the Photo Submission Page.

Internet Access at Maxwell

The school provides students with access to its local network from a number of locations in the Maxwell-Eggers complex including the PAIA computer lab and Academic Village. While off-campus, students should email for information on general computing questions.

The Help Desk, located in Eggers 034, is open Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m. This is where students can go for general computing questions, to reset account passwords and configure their laptops to connect with the resources at Maxwell such as printers, files, and the wireless network. Please visit the ICT website for more information.
