Pre-Arrival Checklist for New MPA and MAIR Students

We are delighted that you have selected the Maxwell School of Syracuse University for your graduate studies in Public Administration and International Affairs! Now that you have submitted your ITR and deposit, let’s ensure you have completed the next steps to prepare for your arrival on campus.

In recognition of the uncertainty around the progression of the COVID-19 virus, the Department of Public Administration and International Affairs has decided that all sections of summer classes schedule for July 6 to August 14, 2020 will be conducted remotely in an on-line format. We then expect on-campus activities to start on August 24, a week prior to the beginning of the fall semester.

MPA Summer head start option: New students starting in the summer of 2020 should expect to start their studies online during the week of July 6.  There will be no on-campus classes this summer.

Fall entry: New students starting in the fall term should plan to arrive within a week of fall semester orientation activities for both the MPA program and the MA IR program. These activities will take place during the week of August 24.
