Career Development

career-development-overviewTo assist students in every aspect of their job search, Maxwell maintains the Center for Career Development. With a combination of online and in-house services, the Center prepares students generally for the demands of job search (e.g., interviewing skills, resume preparation) while nurturing student-alumni networking and posting hundreds of available jobs and likely employers.

Available services of the Center include:

Career Management System. This overarching online resource allows students to search and apply for job opportunities; view and RSVP for career events; schedule on-campus interviews; and manage resumes, cover letters, and other documents.

Other Online Resources. These include Vault Career Intelligence (where thousands of employers conduct specialized searches), GoingGlobal (a worldwide resource center on employers and jobs), InterAction (job opportunities specific to international development), and a Maxwell career-oriented LinkedIn group.

Fellowship and Internship Information. Various resources are offered, many based on previous Maxwell student's success seeking funding and experience.

Maxwell Career Blog. This is a space to share stories, news pieces, events, information and more.
