Lorraine Bower is from Mission Viejo, CA and has lived overseas for 16 years. She has lived in China, Kuwait, the Philippines, and the Netherlands. She graduated from the University of San Francisco in 2014 with a BA Degree in International Studies and Economics with a minor in Chinese and Asian Studies. Shortly after graduation, she enlisted in the US Army Reserves as an Ammunition Specialist for 3 years. Lorraine was granted a Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty Scholarship by the US Army to attend graduate school at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. Her master's studies are focused on International Relations and Security Studies along with Military Science. She will fulfill her military obligations by attending ROTC at Syracuse when upon completion of her master's program she will commission as a Second Lieutenant in the US Army. She is hoping to branch into Military Intelligence and work in the Intelligence field as a civilian.
