Conversations in Conflict Studies presents S. Hkawng Naw
Wednesday, January 24, 2018 12:45 PM
400 Eggers Hall, the PARCC Conference Room
Guest Speaker: S. Hkawng Naw, Executive Master of Public Administration Graduate Student, Maxwell School, Syracuse University. Ms. Naw most recently worked as a National Program Officer in Myanmar for the American Jewish World Service, where she contributed to the development and implementation of AJWS’s grant making strategies for the country. Hkawng hopes to further understand the policy development process while gaining a wider scope of the role of administrative sectors within government. Her long-term goal is to set up a policy think tank focused on women’s rights, ethnic rights, and discriminatory and unjust policies in Burma.
