Biography
Ms. Pauser holds a BA in Anthropology from UC Berkeley
and an MPA with a specialization in Environmental Policy from Syracuse
University. During her masters work, Ms. Pauser attained advanced proficiency
in the Turkish language through the Department of Defense Critical Language
Scholarship (CLS) and David L. Boren Fellowship. As a 2017-18 National Science
Foundation EMPOWER Fellow, Ms. Pauser received training in hydrogeology and
science diplomacy. This training informs her dissertation work, which seeks to
integrate domestic and international pressures affecting transboundary water
cooperation in water-scarce countries.
