Catriona hails from Adelaide, South Australia, where she earned
a First Class Honours degree majoring in development studies and French at the
University of Adelaide. As an undergraduate, Catriona was an intern for the
Special Advisor to the UN Secretary-General on Cyprus, for whom she researched
women's participation in the Cyprus peace process. Outside of study,
Catriona actively advocates for nuclear disarmament and gender equality.
