I started my PhD in Sociology at Syracuse University in the Fall of 2011. Prior to attending SU, I received my Bachelors Degree in Women's Studies from Wells College and a Masters in Gender/Cultural Studies from Simmons College. My research interests include Body Studies, Gender and Sexuality, Infrastructure, Qualitative Methods, and Sociology of Knowledge. My dissertation project looks at how health information systems as digital infrastructures impact the organization of clinical work in private practice environments.
