Bio
Trent Fenner is a Ph.D. student in sociology, whose academic interests include environmental sociology, the political economy of the environment, the sociology of culture, and social theory. All of which he approaches, broadly, from dialectic and materialistic perspectives. He is particularly interested in the privatization and commodification of nature, the market’s subordination of nature, and the intrusion of market values into everyday life. Lastly, he received his Master’s degree in sociology from Lehigh University and his Bachelor’s degree in sociology from Shippensburg University.
