Bio

Kazi Farzana is a doctoral student of South Asian history in the Department of History. She works on concepts of nationalism, youth movements and everyday narratives. Her focus is on Bangladesh and modern nation-state formations in South Asia around issues of religion, gender and language. She holds a BA and MA from BRAC University (English Department) in Literature with a focus on war, trauma and memory. She has also taught as lecturer at BRAC University and Asian University for Women (AUW) in Bangladesh.
