Celebrating Maxwell’s Centennial, 1924-2024

Ever Strive
“We will transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”
We’re turning 100!
To mark our centennial in the fall of 2024, the Maxwell School will hold special events and engagement opportunities to celebrate the many ways—across disciplines and borders—our community ever strives to, as the Oath says, “transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”
The celebration kicks off with a special Orange Central gathering in late September 2023 when a variety of events are planned, including guest lectures, panel discussions, alumni gatherings and more. These will be complemented throughout the year that follows by engagement opportunities for our diverse, highly accomplished community that now boasts more than 38,500 alumni across the globe.

For 100 years, the Maxwell School has shaped generations of scholars steeped in the Athenian Oath who believe that responsible citizenship is an active, ongoing pursuit. We are united by a calling to leave the world greater, better, and more beautiful, and we have made extraordinary contributions that empower a more healthy and inclusive society.
Today, our diverse and growing global network continues to answer the call, forging the futures of countries and communities around the world. We push forward together, finding connections, forming solutions, supporting each other—as we ever strive toward a more brilliant tomorrow.
