Center for Policy Design and Governance

Integrating policy, political and computational sciences to help scientists, practitioners and future public service leaders understand and address governance challenges. Home to the Policy Design Studio, which provides hands-on training and evidence-based analysis on policy design, the engagement of government and non-government stakeholders in policy formulation, and policy implementation.

A home for domestic policy concerns — among them health studies, econometrics, public education, public finance, social welfare, poverty and income security, and urban and regional studies.

Center for Qualitative and Multi-Method Inquiry

The Maxwell School is a leader in interdisciplinary, problem‐driven approaches to social inquiry and in the application of research to practice. CQMI aims to further Maxwell’s reputation as a leader in qualitative and multi-method research, to advance research transparency initiatives, and to help coordinate related activities in Maxwell and across the Syracuse University campus.
