Ilayda Ece Ova

Ilayda Ece Ova holds a B.A. in international relations from Bilkent University and an M.A. in sociology and social anthropology from Central European University.

Prior to joining Maxwell, she worked for academic and civil society organizations focusing on refugees’ access to rights, feminist activism and the institutionalization of gender equality through participatory processes in Turkey and Europe. She is interested in citizenship, democracies and youth's political participation. She is working with Professor Catherine Herrold.
