Brian Brisson assumed his current position as Regional Director for the Western Hemisphere in the U.S. Commercial Service in July 2008. In this capacity, he coordinates the 28 Commercial Offices and 220 business development professionals at Embassies, Consulates and free-standing locations in Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. Working closely with trade associations, chambers of commerce, and state and local governments throughout the region, the Commercial Service provides market intelligence, business facilitation services, advocacy and commercial diplomacy to enhance the competitiveness of U.S. firms. This lecture by visiting guest Brian Brisson is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend.
