Middle Eastern Study Program Presents: Film Screening of "Jews of Iran" Directed by Ramin Farahani. In a film initially produced with the consent of the regime and then later banned, documentary filmmaker, Ramin Farahani, examines the remnants of the once flourishing and ancient Jewish community of contemporary Iran. The film explores the experiences of Jews in Iran through the personal stories of members of the community, and examines themes such as Jewish-Muslim interaction under the rule of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the minority experience
