MAXCNY Lunch and Lecture Series 2011 “Connecting You to Better Care” With the emergence of electronic medical records, efforts are underway across the nation to create an environment of bringing patient health records together. HealtheConnections is the RHIO (Regional Health Information Organization) of CNY, a non-profit organization that is collaborating with hospitals, labs, diagnostic centers, and other healthcare providers to increase the efficiency and overall quality of health care in the region. This presentation will give the audience an overview of how the RHIO was formed, the services it provides, its current status and future vision, and patient benefits.
