"Syracuse Community Geography: Putting Public Scholarship on the Map" Syracuse Community Geography is an innovative university-community partnership that provides G.I.S. mapping and geospatial analysis support to the Central New York community. Now in its sixth year, the program has worked with over 100 different community groups, nonprofits and municipal agencies on some of our region's most significant challenges. Community-proposed topics are diverse and have included hydrofracking, access to fresh produce, literacy and neighborhood safety. Join us to hear about the impact the program has had on the community and our students. Syracuse Community Geography is a program of the Maxwell School's Department of Geography. Jonnell A.
