Ilyas frequently leaves the village for his job and Asya is left alone to care for their baby; there comes a time when Ilyas leaves never to come back. Asya grows worried and takes off with Samet to search for her husband only to find out he is having an affair. On their journey, the devastated mother and child meet a man, Cemsit, who takes pity on them and offers them food and shelter.
