Middle Eastern Studies Program Presents: Iran's Upcoming Presidential Elections: Should We Hold Our Breath? By Sussan Siavoshi

Professor Sussan Siavoshi received her B.S. degree in Economics from Pahlavi University (Iran), and her Ph.D. in Political Science from Ohio State University. She is the Una Cox Chapman Professor and Chair of Political Science Department at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. She is the author of Liberal Nationalism in Iran: The Defeat of a Movement, a book which has been also translated to Persian. In addition she has written numerous scholarly articles and chapters in edited volumes on contemporary Iranian politics.
