The Global Enterprise Technology (GET) Immersion Experience is an excellent complement to your economics major.  The Global Enterprise Technology (GET)  Immersion Experience is an internship opportunity that allows students to gain first-hand experience designing, developing and supporting technology applications and projects at the enterprise level. Positions range from business analysts to application developers. Governments, financial institutions and a range of other global organizations rely on large scale information technology systems and experience in these environments gives students an edge when entering the job market.  Because of its extended length of 6 months, participants have the opportunity to gain more real-world work experience than a typical internship.  There are also 9 credits of related coursework integrated into the internship so that is truly is experiential learning.  The summer portion of internship is full-time and depending on the needs of the company where a student interns, fall semester work will either be full-time or part-time, onsite or remote.   All posted positions will indicate the arrangements for the fall portion of the internship so students are aware of the requirements when they apply.

We’re Turning 100!

To mark our centennial in the fall of 2024, the Maxwell School will hold special events and engagement opportunities to celebrate the many ways—across disciplines and borders—our community ever strives to, as the Oath says, “transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”

Throughout the year leading up to the centennial, engagement opportunities will be held for our diverse, highly accomplished community that now boasts more than 38,500 alumni across the globe.
