Smart Power, Smart Nations

Syracuse Public Diplomacy alumnus Mike McLean will moderate this first panel of the public diplomacy symposium. The conversation will center on how countries try to present themselves to foreign publics, and in turn how foreign publics actually perceive these nations. Included in the discussion will be different strategies used by different nations, the importance of these types of tactics, and the increasing role of publics in diplomacy.
