This panel will discuss the rise of new public diplomacy, which centers on the increasing importance of nonstate actors. The conversation will center on influence of different nongovernmental actors on foreign policy. Ultimately, this panel will demonstrate the strategic use of publics to influence the policy decisions of governments.
