"The Culture & Politics of Reconciliation."  Hana Cervinkova will deliver an introduction to SU Abroad's new theme-based program based in Wroclaw, Poland.  How do we explore the silenced archives of a city's cultural memory to cultivate learning for global citizenship?  What makes Central Europe an engaging urban laboratory, where students can learn to appreciate the complex interplay of history, politics and cultural identities, past and present?  Hana Cervinkova will discuss the politics of memory and engaged pedagogies in urban Central Europe.  "The Culture and Politics of Reconciliation," beginning fall 2014, offers students a special opportunity to explore seven cities in Central Europe, to study with a close cohort of students, to learn from a dynamic faculty, and to shape individual research projects.  Light refreshments will be served after the lecture.

We’re Turning 100!

To mark our centennial in the fall of 2024, the Maxwell School will hold special events and engagement opportunities to celebrate the many ways—across disciplines and borders—our community ever strives to, as the Oath says, “transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”

Throughout the year leading up to the centennial, engagement opportunities will be held for our diverse, highly accomplished community that now boasts more than 38,500 alumni across the globe.
