Assessing Iranian Nuclear Negotiation Strategy

With high stakes negotiations on its nuclear program underway, what makes Iran tick? Who are the players in its government and what authority do they have? How does the state make decisions? Do Western sanctions succeed in changing state behavior? In an important conference at an important time, we seek to shed light on the issues surrounding the Iran nuclear negotiations and the state decision-making processes that will determine the outcomes.

The Moynihan Institute of Global Affairs at the Maxwell School, and the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs have collaborated to present this two-day symposium in October 2014: “Assessing Iranian Nuclear Negotiation Strategy.”

This is the second day of the symposium.  It will be open to invited guests and participants only.

We’re Turning 100!

To mark our centennial in the fall of 2024, the Maxwell School will hold special events and engagement opportunities to celebrate the many ways—across disciplines and borders—our community ever strives to, as the Oath says, “transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”

Throughout the year leading up to the centennial, engagement opportunities will be held for our diverse, highly accomplished community that now boasts more than 38,500 alumni across the globe.
