The Public Administration and International Affairs Department will be hosting an introductory session to our PAIA Friday lunch discussion’s on Friday October 9th. The Friday lunch discussions seek to engage students in thinking about a range of career opportunities and skills, connect current students with alumni, engage students from across our different degree programs in service activities, and develop stronger ties among all department students during their time at the Maxwell School. In this introductory session, Associate Dean and Chair David Van Slyke hopes to engage with all PAIA students to get your feedback on what types of speakers and sessions would be of most interest. These sessions will take place on Fridays throughout the semester from 11:45-1:00pm and will be open to all PAIA students. We’re Turning 100!
To mark our centennial in the fall of 2024, the Maxwell School will hold special events and engagement opportunities to celebrate the many ways—across disciplines and borders—our community ever strives to, as the Oath says, “transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”
Throughout the year leading up to the centennial, engagement opportunities will be held for our diverse, highly accomplished community that now boasts more than 38,500 alumni across the globe.
