China-Israel Relations in the 21st Century

Relations between China and Israel have had a low profile, but with China’s growing global presence, a new sense of urgency and opportunity, for both China and Israel, is bringing this relationship into the foreground.

Please join us for a talk by Professor Zhang Junhua, Director of the Center for Israel Studies at Shanghai Jiaotong University, in which he will detail the growing importance of Sino-Israeli relations when it comes to weapons sales, diplomatic engagement, and an emergent economic partnership that will define the policies between these two powers for the foreseeable future.

Sponsored by the East Asia Program and the Middle Eastern Studies Program at the Moynihan Institute of Global Affairs

We’re Turning 100!

To mark our centennial in the fall of 2024, the Maxwell School will hold special events and engagement opportunities to celebrate the many ways—across disciplines and borders—our community ever strives to, as the Oath says, “transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”

Throughout the year leading up to the centennial, engagement opportunities will be held for our diverse, highly accomplished community that now boasts more than 38,500 alumni across the globe.
