Nepal has come a long way from being an isolated Himalayan kingdom to being a democratic republic where foreign tourism is one the biggest industries.. Over the years, the country has seen a dramatic increase in the presence of Western medicine, yet access to quality health care continues to be a challenge. This talks examines the existing landscape of health care delivery in Nepal and take a closer look at some health information technology solutions, opportunities for its use in health care delivery and monitoring, as well as challenges.
