In May 2014 Ukrainian Forces battled against the Russian Separatists at the Donetsk Airport. This location became a vital battleground, as whoever controlled this territory would then control the Donetsk Province. For 242 these forces came head to head, and the Ukrainian soldiers, dubbed “Cyborgs” by the Eastern militants, stood their ground. In this UA Today Documentary, 5 of these soldiers tell their story.
