Ambassador Gheewhan Kim, Consul General The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea, New York
Ambassador Gheewhan Kim will present the challenges the Alliance should address in the Korean Peninsula and its future development including the Korea-US FTA.
Ambassador Gheewhan Kim assumed the Consul General at the Korean Consulate General in New York in April, 2015. Previously he was the Minister for Economic Affairs at the Korean Embassy in Washington, D.C. He also worked as Director General for Multilateral Trade in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MOFAT). Mr. Kim was also involved in FTA matters as Deputy Director-General of the FTA Policy Bureau and was chief negotiator in the Korea-Japan FTA consultations.
