Each year the faculty and staff of the Maxwell School of Syracuse University look forward to the celebrations surrounding Convocation and Commencement. We particularly enjoy welcoming graduating seniors, their parents, family and friends to our department and program receptions following the College of Arts and Sciences | Maxwell School Convocation. This year the receptions will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018. To accommodate you, the receptions are arranged by department and spread throughout the Maxwell School complex, consisting of both Maxwell and Eggers Halls.  Below is a list of the locations of the department receptions corresponding to the majors (or minors) of graduating seniors.  The locations also will be posted at the entrances when you arrive, and students and staff will be there to direct you to the receptions of interest to you.

Please contact the department directly for any questions or accessibility requests, or email info@maxwell.syr.edu.

We’re Turning 100!

To mark our centennial in the fall of 2024, the Maxwell School will hold special events and engagement opportunities to celebrate the many ways—across disciplines and borders—our community ever strives to, as the Oath says, “transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”

Throughout the year leading up to the centennial, engagement opportunities will be held for our diverse, highly accomplished community that now boasts more than 38,500 alumni across the globe.
