Virtual Event - Professor Leonard Lopoo on The Maxwell X Lab: Building Evidence for What Works

Maxwell alumni and friends are invited to join us on Wednesday, August 12 at 3:00-4:00 p.m. ET for a Maxwell conversation with Professor Leonard Lopoo, Maxwell Advisory Board Professor of Public Policy in the Department of Public Administration and International Affairs. Professor Lopoo, also director of the Center for Policy Research and director and co-founder of the Maxwell X Lab, will discuss the work of the X Lab in leveraging behavioral science to design and evaluate studies with public and non-profit partners, improving outcomes for these organizations.

Leonard Lopoo is Maxwell Advisory Board Professor of Public Policy in the Department of Public Administration and International Affairs, the director of the Center for Policy Research, and director and co-founder of the Maxwell X Lab. Professor Lopoo’s research is interdisciplinary and his interests primarily involve the family: fertility, marriage, maternal employment, and the social welfare policies designed to assist the low-income population. He has received funding from a number of federal agencies and foundations, and is the recipient of numerous awards for his research and teaching.
