A two-day interdisciplinary symposium exploring the theme of authoritarianism over the past century begins with a film screening of And Then They Came For Us (2017, Abby Ginzberg, Ken Schneider).
And Then They Came For Us explores the stories and enduring legacy of the Japanese American internment during World War II. The film will be followed by a conversation with Filmmaker Dr. Satsuki Ina, who was born in the Tule Lake Segregation Center in California.
