Honora Spillane '09 JD/MPA has been appointed senior director of business and economic development at CenterState CEO.

In her new role, Spillane works on CenterState CEO’s business development portfolio. CenterState CEO is a nonprofit based in Syracuse that focuses on connecting businesses across Central and Northern New York. They focus on improving competitiveness, economic development, and the quality of life across the region. Just under 2,000 businesses are connected with CenterState CEO’s efforts to provide business development assistance.

Spillane previously worked as a deputy commissioner in the Department of Neighborhood and Business Development for the City of Syracuse. She has also been a senior economic development specialist for the Onondaga County, N.Y., Office of Economic Development.
