Maxwell alumni and friends are invited to join us on Friday, January 22 at 3:00 p.m. EST for our first virtual alumni event of 2021. In celebration of his 60-year teaching career, Professor Emeritus David H. Bennett will reflect on the 2020 election in “American Democracy in Crisis: Reflections on Election 2020.”
A prolific scholar of 20th-century American history and a Laura J. and L. Douglas Meredith Professor for Teaching Excellence, Professor Bennett taught his recent-history course, Modern History, 1960 to Present, for the final time during the fall 2020 semester.
