Bio
Kent is a Ph.D. social science student at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. He is a social demographer with economics training who studies how individual, family and community-level factors shape health outcomes, especially among older adults and focusing on intergenerational relations. On the side, he works on health policy in the Philippines, his home country. His recent work appears in Preventive Medicine, Journal of Applied Gerontology, PLoS One, Journal of Rural Health, Quality of Life Research, Journal of Family Psychology, Family Process, and Asia Pacific Journal of Public Health.
