Jacobson will lead a conversation with Mr. Vikram Singh about the experiences leading him to public service and the non-profit sector. The conversation will include a discussion of the pressing foreign affairs issues that the United States will face during the Presidential transition and beyond.

Vikram Singh is a Senior Advisor for Asia at the U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP) and a Senior Advisor at WestExec Advisors. He has been a leader of innovation in public policy and global affairs for over 15 years including while serving as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for South and Southeast Asia and as the Deputy Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan at the Department of State. He also served as the Vice President for National Security at the Center for American Progress and was the first defense fellow at the Center for a New American Security.
