Bio
Hector I. Sanchez is a doctoral candidate in history at Syracuse. His research interests include the history of sexuality and gender in the Korean Chosŏn dynasty (1392-1910.) Specifically, Hector is interested in the history of male-male homoeroticisms and homosociality in pre-twentieth century Korea. Before coming to Syracuse, he received a B.A. and an M.A. in East Asian languages and civilizations from the University of Pennsylvania.
