Losing Faith in Faith

Mr. Barker, a former evangelical pastor, will be speaking on the topic, "Losing Faith in Faith." He will discuss his de-conversion from Bible-Believing Born Again to outspoken Atheist Advocate. After donning the vestments of secularism, Mr. Barker has written numerous books, among which are his famous, “Losing Faith in Faith: From Preacher to Atheist,” and the recently released, “Godless: How an Evangelical Preacher Became One of America's Leading Atheists (with a foreword by Richard Dawkins).” He is co-Founder and co-President of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, the nation’s largest secularist advocacy organization, has enlightened and gentrified such media pit stops as the Phil Donahue show, Maury Povich, Hannity & Colmes, and Oprah Winfrey, and has conducted serious debates with major theism proponents Dinesh D’Souza, Todd Friel, Hassanain Rajabali, and many others.
