Hebrew Conversation Table: “Beyond the Textbook” Chug Ivrit Students, faculty, and Syracuse area community members at all levels of proficiency in Hebrew are welcome to attend! Students currently enrolled in HEB 101 are welcome. Come join us for some good conversation in a relaxed setting, as we move “beyond the textbook” to converse in modern Israeli Hebrew. Led by: Michal Downie, Hebrew Language Instructor, Department of Languages, Literature, and Linguistics, College of Arts and Sciences Lunch will be provided. Co-Sponsored by the Judaic Studies Program and UISFL.

To mark our centennial in the fall of 2024, the Maxwell School will hold special events and engagement opportunities to celebrate the many ways—across disciplines and borders—our community ever strives to, as the Oath says, “transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”
