Passions and Transgressions Colloquium

E.S. Bird Library Spector Room, 6th Floor (Rm 608)

Add to: Outlook, ICal, Google Calendar

This one-day colloquium aims at transgressing boundaries – between different disciplines but also between undergraduate students, graduate students, staff, teachers and researchers. Among all members of SU we want to create a community who shares their interests and passion of topics in art, history, music, literature and religion of the medieval and renaissance period. Ten speakers will present their research projects and talk about their academic passions. The workshop will conclude with a round-table discussion on Creating Passion: Teaching Medieval and Renaissance studies at SU. Participants are encouraged to join us visiting a performance of three medieval plays by the theater department of Le Moyne College at 6PM.
