Kambale Musavuli, a native of the Democratic Republic of Congo, is a human rights activist and national spokesperson for the grassroots advocacy organization Friends of the Congo. Mr. Musavuli has written for The Washington Post and Foreign Policy in Focus, has been interviewed on National Public Radio, Democracy Now, ABC News, and Al Jazeera English Television, and appears in Martin Scorsese's film "Surviving Progress." Kambale Musavuli will draw on his astute understanding of the dynamics of the global economy and politics and their impact on the people of the Democratic Republic of Congo, offering reflections on Ping Chong’s Cry for Peace: Voices from the Congo.

We’re Turning 100!

To mark our centennial in the fall of 2024, the Maxwell School will hold special events and engagement opportunities to celebrate the many ways—across disciplines and borders—our community ever strives to, as the Oath says, “transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”

Throughout the year leading up to the centennial, engagement opportunities will be held for our diverse, highly accomplished community that now boasts more than 38,500 alumni across the globe.
