151 Eggers Hall

Add to: Outlook, ICal, Google Calendar

Are you an advanced graduate student who is or will soon be on the job market, or are you just starting out but already thinking about future careers? This workshop will offer an in-depth look at what it's like to navigate the job market from three individuals who have successfully done just that in the last two years: Tessa Murphy, an assistant professor in the history department, Mikkel Dack, a post-doctoral teaching fellow also in the history department, and Molly Jessup, Curator of Education at the Oneida Community Mansion House. They will provide students insight into the process of applying and interviewing for jobs in academic as well as non-academic fields. Graduate students at all stages of their respective programs are encouraged to attend and to bring questions of the panelists.

We’re Turning 100!

To mark our centennial in the fall of 2024, the Maxwell School will hold special events and engagement opportunities to celebrate the many ways—across disciplines and borders—our community ever strives to, as the Oath says, “transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”

Throughout the year leading up to the centennial, engagement opportunities will be held for our diverse, highly accomplished community that now boasts more than 38,500 alumni across the globe.
