If you know a language and want to keep your language skills fresh

If you plan to go abroad and want to learn about the region and practice speaking the language

If you are a native speaker and want to interact with others who speak a language

If you are just learning to speak a language

Please join us for one (or more) of our language tables. These meetings are hosted by language faculty, native speakers, and graduate students who come from the region.  Topics may include culture, tourism, geography, dance, food, politics and we encourage suggestions  for conversation and activities.

We’re Turning 100!

To mark our centennial in the fall of 2024, the Maxwell School will hold special events and engagement opportunities to celebrate the many ways—across disciplines and borders—our community ever strives to, as the Oath says, “transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”

Throughout the year leading up to the centennial, engagement opportunities will be held for our diverse, highly accomplished community that now boasts more than 38,500 alumni across the globe.
