This workshop will provide a brief introduction to Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) as an interdisciplinary research praxis that centers youth as equal partners in research and inquiry.

Through discussion of recent and ongoing YPAR initiatives in Syracuse, this workshop with include hands-on engagement with YPAR methods and critical reflection towards the possibilities of engaging youth in participatory and community-engaged research.

We’re Turning 100!


To mark our centennial in the fall of 2024, the Maxwell School will hold special events and engagement opportunities to celebrate the many ways—across disciplines and borders—our community ever strives to, as the Oath says, “transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”
