Crimea Uncovered: History, Heritage, and Indigeneity
Maksym Rylskyi
Join us for the next stop in our journey across Ukraine’s diverse regions—this time, we turn to Crimea, a land of stunning coastlines, mountain peaks and layered histories. From prehistoric footprints and Greek colonies to the Crimean Khanate and Russian imperial ambitions, Crimea has long been a crossroads of civilizations and cultures.
This interactive session will explore the ancient roots of civilization in Crimea, the Indigenous people of Crimea and their cultural legacy, natural and architectural treasures, as well as imperial myths and modern struggles.
Together, we’ll dismantle myths and reaffirm an undeniable truth: Crimea has never been a question—it is Ukraine.
This event is open to al—no Ukrainian language skills required. Come to learn, discuss and connect.
