Celebrate the warmth and joy of the holiday season at the final Italian table of the semester with a rousing game of Tombola (think Italian-style bingo)!
Tombola is a cherished part of Christmas and New Year’s traditions in Italy. It dates to Naples in the 18th century, when families would gather around the table long after dinner to draw numbered tiles, shout out “Ambo,” “Terno” and finally “Tombola!” in laughter and excitement.
We’ll provide everything you need so you can dive right into the fun. All are welcome to attend, from beginners to native speakers.
Pizza and drinks will be served.
This table is hosted by the Italian program faculty.
