The Center for Qualitative and Multi-Method Inquiry presents Dessi Kirilova, associate director of the Qualitative Data Repository at Syracuse.
This mini-workshop introduces key ideas and practical approaches for managing qualitative and multi‑method data in line with the 2023 NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy. The session will offer an overview of how to plan, document, and organize qualitative data across the research lifecycle. Participants will learn to apply FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles, understand current funder and journal data-related expectations and identify strategies for ethical and effective data sharing.
A short hands‑on segment will familiarize attendees with the DMPTool, which supports the creation of structured data management plans. Designed for graduate students, early‑career and experienced researchers, the session sets a strong foundation for developing compliant and comprehensive Data Management and Sharing Plans (DMSPs) for grant submissions or internal project use.
The mini-workshop is open to all Maxwell affiliates.
Light refreshments will be served.
