17th Annual FPP Conference: Crossing Boundaries & Stories Unsung
Eggers Hall, 145
Add to: Outlook, ICal, Google Calendar
The History Department's Future Professoriate Program conference explores lesser-known narratives and experiences that challenge boundaries where subjects meet, diverge and transform. These boundaries may be physical (global, transnational, diasporic) or social, cultural, or ideological (social movement, more-than-human studies, race, gender, sexuality). We hope to highlight the narratives of those in liminal spaces or historical margins and bring these ideas to the forefront.
The keynote presentation will be from Mackenzie Cooley (Hamilton College), entitled “Born and Branded: Race, Nature, and the Renaissance Dream of Control.”
