Basic Conflict Management Skills Workshop

This workshop will help you understand the fundamentals of conflict management theory, including how various conflict styles affect the way you and others deal with conflict. Among other things, you will learn about reflective listening, a powerful de-escalation technique that can help people deal with high emotions associated with interpersonal conflict to allow room to effectively address conflict. Add this tool, and others, to your conflict management toolbox during this interactive, participatory workshop.

The workshop will be led by Catherine Gerard, former director of PARCC at the Maxwell school, Syracuse University; and professor of practice emerita of public administration and public affairs. This workshop is FREE and open to all.
