Dissertation Defense: Shuo Zhang

Ph.D. candidate Shuo Zhang will orally defend his dissertation titled “Three Essays on Political Economy and International Trade.”
The oral doctoral examination of Shuo Zhang, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 10 a.m. in 112 Eggers Hall and via Zoom.
Shuo Zhang's co-advisors are Professor Devashish Mitra and Professor Abdulaziz Shifa. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of professors Thomas Pearson and Ryan Monarch. Professor Dimitar Gueorguiev will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: “Three Essays on Political Economy and International Trade.”
